The Mandarin translation
of Feng Shui is "wind-water". This ancient art form systematically
and symbolically influences the world's natural forces to enhance
or improve essential areas of one's life, the most important one
being
one's health. Changes are achieved by the proper placement
of furniture and other items in one's home and by constructing the
home according to Feng Shui principles. There are many different
applications of Feng Shui (i.e. The Classical or Compass School,
the Black Hat or Front Door Method, Form School, Flying Stars, etc.)
Balance
and harmony are achieved using the five-element theory (i.e. earth,
metal, water, wood, and fire), and the use of the Bagua, an eight-sided
tool used to determine the life areas of an occupant's home or workspace. |

Feng
Shui embraces the dance of chi, or prana, the natural energy source
which is all around us. We can honor chi, dance with chi, and manipulate
chi. Feng Shui will keep you
in step with the heartbeat of the world!
The goal of
Feng Shui is ergonomic, aesthetic, and practical. Whatever the
application,
the resulting perception of your surroundings should be BEAUTIFUL
to you in a stunning or subtle way. |

Feng Shui is
not a religion, but rather an art and a science. However, Feng Shui
is religion-friendly.
Feng Shui is
not magic! The client must be fully present during the
actual process of transformation. |
